In this course we will delve into the practice of writing to heal. Each week we will explore guided techniques, prompts, and meditations that move us forward in harnessing our language, as we use writing to redirect our concepts of self, compassion, self-love, and unearth the core of who we are. Through this exploration we will come through the course with a toolbox to return to again and again in order to process our emotions, and a stronger sense of our direction, needs and the knowledge of how to use writing to continue to move forward on our journey.

WOMEN’S WRITING GROUP
Saturdays: October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, November 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th & December 7th
10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
The Women’s Writing Group provides space for women writers to come into community, study the craft of poetry, workshop their poems and generate new work. Each week we will discuss the work of at least one female poet, zoning in on her craft. We will generate new work via prompts provided based off specific techniques learned in discussion, and workshop 1-2 participants’ poems.
*Open to all who identify as women.
